As for having a great day, it's been fantastic today as I saw two of my classes in the afternoon for the first time and their English ability was really good. Hi Sam! Definitely better to grab yourself a certificate, especially if you plan on moving around. Some countries or employers don't require it but most do. Where is up to you, really. Whether EF or Linguaphone hire incompetent teachers is irrelevant; the students themselves pay to learn English, which as such is a sign of high motivation. Even poorly-trained FT's can give highly-motivated students more than well-trained teachers can to poorly-motivated students. EF and Linguaphon...
